Gabriele Grunewald

Gabriele Grunewald (née Anderson) is a professional American middle-distance runner and lifelong Minnesotan, born and raised in Perham, MN. She won one track & field state title in the 800-meters competing for Perham High School. Gabriele walked-on to the University of Minnesota cross country and track & field teams in 2004, where she was a part of several Big Ten Championship squads and eventually became an NCAA track & field All-American with a runner-up finish in the 1500-meters in 2010, her final collegiate race. Gabriele has run professionally for Brooks since 2010. Her career highlights include a 4th-place finish in the 2012 USA Olympic Trials and a USA Championship title in the Indoor 3000-meters in 2014. Her personal best in the 1500-meters is 4:01.48, making her the 11th fastest performer in USA history. Under the guidance of Coach Dennis Barker, Gabriele has her sights on the 2020 USA Track & Field Olympic Trials. Gabriele has survived multiple bouts with a rare salivary gland cancer, adenoid cystic carcinoma. When not training and competing, she lends her voice and story to the rare cancer community through speaking engagements and advocacy. Gabriele lives and trains along the banks of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis with her husband, Justin.

Cindra Kamphoff

Dr. Cindra Kamphoff is a certified mental performance consultant, popular keynote speaker, and author who works with professional athletes, executives and championship teams around the nation. She is the author of "Beyond Grit: Ten Powerful Practices to Gain the High Performance Edge." Her clients range from Verizon Wireless, Mayo Clinic Health System to the Minnesota Vikings. She is the Vikings’ mental performance consultant where she works with the players one-on-one to train their mind for peak performance. Her work has been featured in Sports Illustrated, New York Times, ESPN the Magazine, USA Today, and Runner’s World Magazine. She has a podcast available on iTunes called "The High Performance Mindset." Her Ph.D. is in sport and performance psychology, and she speaks on how to gain the high performance edge while providing practical strategies that work. In her spare time, she runs and trains for marathons. She has run 15 marathons including the Boston Marathon 5 times and in 2012 she won the Omaha Marathon.

Courtney Dauwalter

Courtney Dauwalter is an ultra runner specializing in the really long distances. Originally from Minnesota, Courtney now lives and trains in Golden, Colorado. In 2017, Courtney set the 24 hour American record of 159.3 miles, won Run Rabbit Run 100 running the last 10 miles blind, and took the overall win at the Moab 240 Mile Endurance Run.

Nick Symmonds

Nick is an American athlete and entrepreneur. As an athlete, Nick has found much success on the track and in the mountains. A two-time Olympian, Nick competed for the United States in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games. Though he has focused on the 800 meters for the majority of his career, he also has a personal best in the mile of 3 minutes and 56 seconds. Nick has yet to run a marathon, but it is something he hopes to do soon! In the mountains, Nick has built up an impressive resume in a very short time. He is currently working on collecting all 50 state high-points and has publicly expressed his desire to climb the 7 Summits, the tallest mountain on each continent. When Nick isn't running or climbing he can be found working on the business that he co-founded in 2014, Run Gum. Nick currently serves as the CEO for the fast growing energy company. He currently resides in the Pacific Northwest.
