Carrie goes for a run with Olympian and registered dietician Rasa Troup! Rasa talks about representing Lithuania in the 2008 Olympic Games, competing for the University of Minnesota, and her favorite healthy meals for her busy family.

Rasa Troup

A registered and licensed dietitian, Rasa Troup has been working with Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country teams at the University of Minnesota for more than decade. In addition, Rasa is a consultant dietitian for Minnesota Vikings as well as a dietitian at the University of Minnesota Physicians. Rasa has experience in different areas of nutrition including clinical nutrition, eating disorders, and sports nutrition. She enjoys working with people of all walks of life and abilities as well as amateur and professional athletes. Troup is also an Olympic athlete that holds national records in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and the indoor mile in her home country. She represented Lithuania in the World and European track and field championships as well as 2008 Beijing Olympics. While studying at the University of Minnesota she earned All-America honors in cross-country and was the first University of Minnesota athlete to win the Roy Griak Invitational as well as the program’s first NCAA regional champion.
